Abdominal ultrasonography showed no disorders of the liver ... 15 mm in diameter, in the ascending colon near Bauhin's valve (Fig. 1a). We diagnosed this lesion as a cavernous hemangioma.

The case is reported of a patient with a formed, sessile, polypoid-type cavernous hemangioma in the ascending colon that was removed successfully by endoscopic mucosal resection.
