Aug 23, 2022 · I wouldn't be surprised if some of those 'adults' are paid bots. It's been well established that 5 minute crafts and most of their copycats are from content mills. Reusing bad, low effort footage and paying people to write cheap, poorly written scripts makes a ton, and any video that doesn't do well gets an algorithm boost from bots.

While the 5 minute craft and their other content outlets are apolitical (though there has been evidence content that is political/Russian propaganda has been scrubbed meticulously from their accounts), the money they make from their more innocuous videos is funneled into true political content.

An old plastic bottle used to make a broom or an old shirt made into a new dress is complete bullshit. Using empty chips packets as plant pots is not innovative and definitely not a craft.
