Some folks shot Sierra's 150-gr. match or hunting bullets with 48 grains of IMR4895 with good success.

2017年4月1日 · .30 M2 was a 152 grain bullet at 2800 fps. Not that it matters. The M1 Rifle wasn't designed to use .30 M2 anyway. It was made and tested using .30 M1 ammo with its 174.5 grain BT bullet at 2640 fps. "...shoot those same reloads through my 1917 Enfield..." The only issue might be accuracy. Every rifle likes a different load.
