2015年3月4日 · IMO trying to standardize the cross in Braford it lost some of the pop that Brangus and Beefmaster retained it never was as good as the F-1 or the 1/4 cross again IMO. I think they just couldn't get off the ground well because the F-1 was in such high demand. Certified Golden F-1 sales always drew premium prices.

2005年11月16日 · i am considering the similar cross. i have some cows with simm in them and love them. i have been using braford bulls, 5/8 hereford and 3/8 brahman. when my cows get to mostly braford put a sim-angus 1/2 amd 1/2 back on them. i am really pleased with the braford but would like some simmi in them too.

2014年8月4日 · To me there are a lot more Beefmaster and Simbrah bulls of better quality out there then Braford. I have been around all 3 and the Beefmaster and Simbrah have always seemed to produce better calves. If you want to with the Beefmaster and Simbrah you can get a black bull to put on your angus cows.

2019年9月17日 · I would not cross Brangus over Braford for replacements or terminal calves. Your kind of in purgatory between terminal calves and F1 replacements IMO. I'm a fan of a good Black Angus bull over F1 Braford cows. The black mott bulls and heifers sell good. Not sure if those 1/4 ear replacements will work for you but if not sell them and buy back F1s.
