Riverside Seafood Restaurant (Sunset District & personal favorite in the city). Outside of SF: Dim Sum King (Daly City) - The food is solid, but not my first choice.

2023年7月28日 · Four seasons was actually pretty good dim sum when I went. In Manhattan, unfortunately dim sum is pretty mediocre. The best ones are probably Jin Feng (which honestly fell off a cliff since they reopened), Pings, or Tim Ho Wan (again fell off a cliff after Covid). You get much better selection in Flushing. I recommend Grand.

2023年2月17日 · Well for brunch they roll out a dim sum cart and it’s kind of fast paced, lol. I’m more familiar with Japanese cuisine so I don’t know the names. I got the pork buns, the dumplings with the little shrimp on top, the rice thing wrapped in a leaf. I got more than that but can’t recall. I just said yes to a lot of things.

2021年10月14日 · IMO the best true old school dim sum spot is Hong Kong up on Guess Rd in Durham. I’ve tried some of the newer players in the dim sum game but none of them compare to HK. I can’t say for sure if part of my love for the place is nostalgic as it was the only place for really good dim sum for a couple of decades. Flame Kabob has great Persian food.

Mott 32 and Chef's Choice is one of the few restaurants that use the proper pork that they use in good dim sum restaurants in HK (iberico pork). Everything in Chef's Choice from the food, menu, design and materials used in the restaurant reflect what you would find today in a similar restaurant in HK. Kirin Richmond is 80's-90's dim sum.

2022年8月5日 · I've tried Rol San, Rosewood, Dim Sum King, Lai Wah Heen, Planta Queen (vegan!), Moon Palace, and Pearl Harbourfront. Moon Palace and Pearl Harbourfront are the clear winners. Of the two, I'd say Moon Palace can compete with the better dim sum restaurants in Scarborough and Markham. If looking beyond downtown, there are more options.
