I'm no Filson fanboy, but one comment on the Filson fabric used in the Double Mac; daylight test or no, I have found the Double Mac damn near impervious to our cold, wet, windy, brutal Alaska weather. I have worn my FDM literally, across the entire state flying freight, (N-S-E-W) and it gets the job done!

2018年1月28日 · Got my much anticipated @weatherwool anorak. It didn’t come in time to get some cold weather use. It is only 20 so hardly cold enough to test. One thing I find that might be an issue for me is the lack of a cinch cord to stop 20-30 mph wind from blowing up the anorak. It has however zip sides that aids in putting on and taking off.

I have two, older, Helly Hansen Roan anoraks. They are PVC coated and are my 'go to' for seriously wet and/or windy conditions. True, you can overheat in them.
