If you use other topical treatments like lice'n'easy shampoo, you will have to wait at least 48 hours between using another product on the skin.

2018年7月17日 · Basically, long story short, I noticed lice, took both guineas to the vet, they confirmed it was lice and they needed invectimin treatment, they then went to quote the total cost and was looking at around £90 for their medication (for 3 doses over a course of 4 weeks for the two piggies), so they suggested to me to buy it from the shop, as long as it had invectimin in it.

2012年7月26日 · I have used lice n easy from gorgeous guineas with great success with lice and also used Johnsons small animal insecticidal shampoo too, both take two washes 7 days apart but not had a problem since after using either.

2017年5月26日 · In persistent cases sometimes a two-pronged treatment with lice'n'easy shampoo and a good quality ivermectin or selamectin-based product can do the trick. My own UK vet has treated with selamectin-based stronghold (similar to revolution), which is prescription only here, but it was very effective for my new arrival Nye. Guinea Lynx :: Fur Mites

You need to use a mite shampoo once a week for 3 weeks and clean everything in the cage - scrub houses, floors, walls, wash fleeces on a hot wash etc. Also get rid of the hay they got it from as they will keep getting them. I have found farriers biosect guinea pig shampoo and mite spray really good.
