2021年1月7日 · If you don’t know, McKamey Manor has a reputation for being the most extreme haunted house experience, but given what I’ve learned about it I don’t really count it as a “haunted house attraction,” it’s more like a torture chamber, that really seems a lot more painful than scary.

2023年10月19日 · Just watched a YouTuber named Reckless Ben expose Makamey Manor and its “owner” Russ Makamey for being a complete fraud, there is no manor, no $20,000, there are not 80 stunts, just a weird guy that gets off on hurting people. The people that go there are just roughed up until they quit but cannot talk about for fear of getting sued or doxxed.

2019年9月23日 · Apparently, it’s well-known in haunted-house-fan circles as the world’s scariest haunted house, etc. It’s one of those extreme haunted house experiences, like Blackout in New York, where the actors can touch you and you have to sign a liability release. (I.e., the sort of haunted house which I’d never do but which I’m intrigued by.)

2017年12月25日 · I met the guy and spent the evening with him. He's super nice, very bashful, hates gory horror films. I think he's a decent guy with seriously questionable business choices. Mckamey Manor used to be a regular haunted house with some extremism, now it seems to have completely devolved and lost all creativity.

2019年11月14日 · I wouldn’t say I’m traumatized I just wish I could speak out without so much negative backlash and people telling me I don’t know what I’m talking about. I don’t recommend anyone go anywhere near Russ or McKamey Manor. There are legit extreme haunts for horror fans. The manor is a power object for Russ not an extreme haunt.

2019年10月27日 · I’ve now researched a little about this „Haunted House“ wich is basically a not very legal torture house. Their actors are reportedly real criminals with sexual assault history’s. And not one person with medical experience/knowledge is with them while the tour is happening.
