I don't know about reusing it, but it is cheap and easy to knock down and clean up. 1 part regular old lime (we call it chit-house lime) to 3 parts sand. It works close to "real"mortar and tools the same, and can be removed for a couple of days or weeks after being laid.

2011年1月29日 · In the past I've used 1x material to box around the window, kind of an oversized extension jamb, then caulked where the wood meets the concrete block/mortar/glass (take your pick). I've also drywalled up to the same locations and finished the back edge with caulk. Suggestions? Thanks.

If it's rich it'll flow easily. Wait until joints begin to stiffen up then strike them. Wait again until joints stiffen up further, then use a blower to blow them off the stone.
