There's a major difference between that short and the knuckles show. The short is completely 3D animated. They gave that to the conpany that did some sonic game CG cutscenes. So it's basically a mini disney movie with high tier cg talent. Though my point is it had some things going for it, it was worked on independently and is it's own thing.
