2009年9月12日 · I took some index cards and wrote numbers on them with one digit underlined. Then, I made heading cards out of different colored index cards that said 100,000, 10,000, 1,000, etc. Lined those up along the top of the pocket chart and had the kids place the index cards with the numbers on them in the proper position.

2009年8月26日 · Since the program knows the jobs that you want, it will instanly accept the assignment for you as soon as it is posted on Aesop. No one else will be able to get that job from you because they cannot respond as fast as the computer can. You always have first pick of the jobs that you want and you don't even have to be home.

2010年7月31日 · The kids can take them anywhere around the room them fold them up and stand them on the side of a shelf when reading time is over. Pillows are another cheap option. Kids love to lay or lean against a wall with a pillow. Another idea is benches. You might just find an old one that looks great with a little paint.

It's not that there is anything amiss with her - she is well-educated in her first language but is brand new to English...and obviously unable to do grade level work in English. I'd like to suggest more fitting ways to grade ELLs.
