2022年10月8日 · First build, using aves rails dd19.2, just got my dagger slide in, threw it on the frame and im having a hard time cycling it by hand. Putting just the rails on the slide I get alot of resistance. Is this due to the slide being brand new or tolerance issues on the rails? Do I need to break in the slide or sand the rails down a bit?

2023年9月28日 · Just printed the DD43X last night Standard stippling. Tried installing my Aves 43.1 rails. I have the exact same issue. The front rail sits way higher than the rear rails. I really want this design to work, but I may go with the PP43 as well.

They apparently don't chamfer the seating for the round, which is partly responsible for the failure to properly cycle. Lesson learned - I've relegated my Aves Rails MAC11 upper to cheap builds. 2021年5月1日 · Nope, DIY rails are the rails with the 2 screws on each side (very ugly but it’s all i have right now that’s why I was tryna make them work with DIY rails, AVES & PY2A has a way better set up where the sight rail doesn’t need anything, you slide it in under the trigger housing & then it uses the trigger housing pin to keep it in place.

2023年3月2日 · Yup same exact problem. 43.1 aves rails are about 1mm too high, needs to have 1mm shaved off bottom and hole redrilled. Tons of okay and slide will stay stuck in the racked position and won't slide forward

2021年8月27日 · Because they're not produced en mass and they're CNC machined as opposed to bent. They're made of a better material than all of these other rails could ever hope to be. They also have the ability to allow for the use if a Gen 5. Trigger housing. Finally, the rails don't have alignment issues and they're extended in length for slide contact.

2021年4月11日 · Am I missing something, or are Aves rails just that hard to get? I’ve been getting onto their site most days for the past three weeks, a few minutes before noon central time. I go to the “FMDA DD17.2 Rail Kit” product page and start refreshing starting at like 1 minute til.
