My surgery was booked for 12/03/14,I arrived at the surgery at 8.30 am the surgical team were all there and I was introduced to each one of them,all were really nice and explained their various roles,I felt ok at this time,but very very scared,they said I had nothing to worry about,it would be over before I knew it.

2014年3月16日 · The 2 back implants took and they are going to still use the one zygomatic to help anchor a bar. I'm having the other one removed this Friday. Instead of being able to have it permanetely screwed in I'm going to have to go with snaps but my dentist tells me I should be pretty happy with them and that it should be secure.

2008年4月17日 · yes ,I only had the upper jaw done,my bottom jaw has an implant supported denture ,with the only 2 implants that didnt fail ,when I had the 8 implants placed 8 years ago ,all the top ones failed .plus 2 at the bottom but so far so good with the remaining 2,and holds the denture secure enough with just the 2,but eventually I will look at having ...

2014年3月14日 · Thank you both for letting me know your experiences I am having 11 upper and 9 lower teeth removed, 6 implants in top 2 will be zygomatic and 4 in the bottom then loaded with temporary teeth!!! I am having sedation but dreading that now as my fear is the drill noise I thought I would sleep all through the treatment!!

2014年3月16日 · My cost for just the uppers was $22K. They were able to file $2,500 on my dental. I paid $20K. When the bone graft and first implants failed and the decision was made to go forward with the zygomatic implants, he didn't charge me anything more but did say the zygomatic implant procedure was more expensive than the all on 4 with bone graft.

2014年3月14日 · It's quite common for zygomatic implants to emerge further into the ridge of the mouth than conventional implants. It will be the gum around the implant that is sore rather than the implant itself and in my experience that steadily improves over time (a few weeks). The numbness is quite common and nearly always disappears though it may be 6 weeks.

2014年3月16日 · It was one delay after another. After a CT scan it was decided even with bone implant I still didn't have enough bone to support standard implants. Great! 2 years and not one step farther than I was before. I was so angry and disappointed. This is when I heard about zygomatic implants.
