Let’s bake bread like our grandparents in the 1930’s! I found an old Gold Label recipe book and inside was a really simple bread recipe that I baked for a holiday treat. I also found that it tastes delicious and makes great toast or perfect artisan sandwich bread. It’s dense but also chewy. It’s really good that’s all I know.
