Hanging altars are perfect for devotional or magical intent. These altars are small so the practitioner must be selective on what to place on them. You could use your limited space as a working platform for a spell, as a sacred shrine for a certain deity or saint, making an offering or for burning incense to cleanse your space. One of my favorite item to host in my altars are my favorite crystals. I love using my altars to burn my incense. On my main altar I host my daily card pull as a reminder
